Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes on the hands and feet which correspond to every body part. The most sensitive of these points are on your feet, because feet are one of the strongest energy poles in your body. All health begins inside of our body, but it is difficult to stimulate our organs and systems directly. The therapist's pressure on the corresponding site in the foot helps break up uric acid and lactic acid crystals that collect in the feet, and is known to overcome blocks and flow to the corresponding body part, re-energizing and relaxing them, so healing may take place.
